Education and Faith Formation
Education/Faith Formation Adult Education This group plans programs that enrich Faith formation for adults. This group believes people should take time from our busy lives to reconnect with God and to reap the rewards of the Faith life of our Church. Events and speakers are planned for advent and lent on timely and meaningful topics. The members meet in Quinn Center as needed. Contact Nancy Becerra or Matt Shea through the Parish Center office.

Bible Study
This is an Adult Education program offered twice a year. Each study meets weekly, 1-1/2 hours per session for 6 weeks. A book of either the New or Old Testament of the bible is studied and the book is selected by popular demand. Each study is offered with either an afternoon or evening session running concurrently with parallel presentations depending upon one's availability. There is no charge for the class and all that one is asked to provide is their own copy of the Bible for reading and following in class. Classes are held in an available room of the Quinn Center. Notice of the next offered class is published in the parish bulletin.

Religious Education
This program makes known to each student the person and message of Christ. It helps each student know, understand and appreciate the basic teaching of the Catholic Church. It helps each student feel an integral part of St. Gabriel's community and participate actively in the life of this community.

• Religious education classes for children attending public school are from 9:00 -9:55 on Sunday morning in the school. Classes for 4 and 5 year olds on Sunday mornings are during the 10:00 Mass in the extended care classrooms. Liturgy of the Word for children (Grades 1-4) during the 10:00 Sunday Mass is in the Quinn Center Chapel. Parishioners can apply to volunteer to teach in any of the programs.
• There are First Eucharist and Reconciliation sacramental preparation programs for children and their parents during the year that they will receive these sacraments.

Religious Education Programs for children
St. Gabriel has a comprehensive religious education program available for your children. Three programs at the Parish are designed to guide the spiritual growth of your young ones as they become active members in our church.

Each of these religious education programs stresses the foundation of the Catholic faith and provides an instructive and fun way of learning about our doctrine, traditions and religious history. To learn more about these programs, choose the one that is most appropriate.

• The Kinder-Catholic Program
  for children 4 and 5 years old.
• The Children's Liturgy of the Word
  for children in grades 1 through 4.
• The Seekers in Sneakers Program
  for children, grades 1 through 6.
